At The Cat’s Meow, our mission is simple: give every cat the chance at a safe, healthy, and loved life.
We are a foster-based rescue dedicated to helping cats in Bartow and Cobb County, two areas where many cats face overcrowded shelters, abandonment, and life on the streets. We work closely with local shelters and the community to pull cats at risk, and we also accept owner surrenders when families can no longer provide care.
Many of the cats and kittens who come into our program were born into outdoor or feral colonies. Our incredible network of fosters provides safe, nurturing homes where kittens can learn to trust, play, and thrive as beloved companions. Watching a once-unsure kitten transform into a confident, loving pet is one of the most rewarding parts of our work.
We believe that cats are happiest when they have companionship. That’s why we prioritize placing kittens and cats in pairs or into homes with other friendly cats. Social bonds are essential for their emotional well-being, helping them grow into confident, well-adjusted pets.
Every cat in our care receives proper veterinary attention, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and any necessary medical treatment. We are committed to ensuring that each cat is not just adopted, but truly set up for a lifetime of health and happiness.
